When it rains
And you're feeling
All alone
Search for rainbows
Shadowed underneath the Storm
Take a step each day
Please don't stop breathing
You need to keep believing
Your imperfections
are what make you beautiful.
We're not perfect
we have flaws we criticize
This beautiful chaos of a world
Makes us realize
That we're not the sam sized
average looking
bland human beings
We have different shapes and structures
which make us unique
And now its we let them free.
Can I be that
Imperfection
That always keeps you up at night
That melody
You can't stop singing
It keeps wringing
To our beating hearts
Take me as I am
Don't love me any less
Because we're different after all
Imperfection can't get
More beautiful than this.
They say
Smart girls
Aint got no beauty
Or ugly girls
Are the ones with no booty
The bad boy in the corner
Is the one who breaks hearts
He's hiding just to cover up his own scars
The pretty barbie with the smile
Is the richest in the land
She's fending for herself
The money's the reason
for her friends
We stereotype people
but we don't have the right
we haven't been through their struggles
We haven't fought their battles.
You tell me
I can't act like that
That I should be a certain way
I don't take crap like that
I may not be the typical standard
That society will accept
But I'll keep smiling
Guess its true
That I am different.
And you're feeling
